Documentary Requirements:
Only candidates for high school graduation and graduates of the current school year are immediately qualified to apply for admission and take the Lyceum’s College Entrance Test (CET).

  1. Two (2) pcs. 2“x2” recent, identical pictures (colored, any background)
  2. Photocopy of the 4th Yr. Report Card (indicating latest grading period)
  3. Certification of Candidacy for Graduation and of Good Moral Character
  4. Photocopy of Birh Certificate
    Note: Foreigners graduating from local high schools should present their birth certificate and applicable alien papers

Additional Requirements for BS Nursing

  1. Photocopy of the 4th Yr. Report Card (indicating latest grading period)
  2. GPA of at least 80%
  3. At least 5ft. in height, desirable body weight
  4. Two(2) pcs. long brown envelope

Testing fee: Php 400.00

Application Procedure:

  1. Submit requirements and secure application form at the Admissions Information Center (AIC)
  2. Pay the non-refundable CET fee at the Cashier’s office or at specially assigned windows.
  3. Submit the application form to the AIC to get an examination schedule.
  4. Take the entrance exam as scheduled. Late comers or those who are not able to take the exam on the date assigned to them may request for a re-schedule of their CET date. (Subject to the conditions of CET re-scheduling).
  5. Claim the test result at the Guidance and Testing Center on the date and time scheduled by the AIC. Present examination permit in getting the CET result.
  6. Upon knowing their admission status, qualified applicants may reserve for their enrollment slots or immediately proceed to enrollment.

Pre-enrollment Guidelines and Policies:

  1. Only candidates for high school graduation/ graduates of the current school year are immediately qualified to apply for College Entrance Test (CET).
  2. The following applicants must be referred first to the admissions clerk of the Registrar’s Office for an Admission Clearance before they are scheduled to take the CET.
    • High school graduates of previous school years
    • Transferees
    • Graduates of Non-Formal Education (NFE)
    • Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) holders
    • Philippine Validating Test (PVT) holders
    • Filipinos who studied or graduated abroad
    • Foreign students and resident aliens
      Note: Foreign students of Filipinos who studied abroad should be referred to the Liaison Officer of the Registrar’s Office for an initial interview and advising of their respective requirements
    • The following new students shall be exempted from taking the College Entrance Test
    • Valedictorians and Salutatorians among the total graduating class of 40 and above or First Honorable Mention among the total graduating class of 101 and above
    • Editors-In-Chief of the official student or high school publication.
    • Applicants for JPL-SHL President’s and Kanegae-Ifugao Scholarship Programs who took the qualifying exams but were not awarded the scholarship.
    • Second Coursers
    • Other new students as identified by the Scholarship Committee
    • Only a maximum of 40 applicants would be admitted per testing time
    • Deadline of submission of CET requirements:
    • If the target testing time is at 8:30 am, at least a day before
    • If the target testing time is at 10:30 am, cut-off time is 9:30 am
    • If the target testing time is at 1:30 pm, cut-off time is 12:00 nn
    • About Conditional and Approved status
    • Approved applicants are those who have complete requirements. Their papers are immediately processed.
    • Conditional applicants are those who have incomplete CET requirements or whose admission to Lyceum is subject to the conditions set by the Registrar’s Office.
    • Conditions or instructions to the applicant must be written in the test permit
    • Deadline of submission of conditional CET requirements: At least one hour before the scheduled exam
    • Only applicants from Mindanao, Visayas, and Southern and Northern regions of Luzon are allowed to take the College Entrance Test (CET) on special test schedules. Assigning the test schedule is subject to the consent and approval of the Psychometrician.
    • This is applicable to all courses except for BS Nursing
    • For BS Nursing Applicants who passed the entrance exam are to proceed to the College of Nursing for endorsement for medical examination. Inquiries regarding the results of the exams can be made one week after the completion of the medical tests. The College of Nursing will release status of application
      Those who have undergone their medical exams other than the diagnostic centers referred by the Lyceum should submit their medical results to the school clinic.
    • Transferees and applicants “For Interview” are required to go through an interview with the College of Nursing. Endorsement for medical examination will be made after other requirements are complied with. Inquiries with the College of Nursing regarding the status of the application can be made three working days after the completion of the tests.

Application period and examination dates: Test registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Schedule will be given upon application.
